This list will give you a preview of some of the women-owned businesses in Downtown Casper. Head downtown to check out the rest!

Scarlow’s Art & Coffee

Art and coffee never went so well together. In 2013, Claire Marlow purchased Goedickes Custom Framing & Art Supply and set forth a new era in the downtown space. The business has remained art focused and continues the high standard of art materials and custom framing. In the adjoining space, you can find a beautifully remodeled space that showcases the talents of regional and national artists. Not to be overlooked is the delicious coffee bar where you can sit and enjoy a hot or cold brew and the ambiance that this space provides.

After deciding to it was time to conclude over six decades in the jewelry business, the founding family passed the torch on to a dedicated, longtime employee Tracy Kilwein. With extensive experience in jewelry repair and sales, Tracy’s store is a top choice for any jewelry need. Offering the same customer experience and attentiveness that Okes has been known for since 1951, you are sure to get the best personalized experience you could hope for.

Frosted Tops

Owner Kirstin Bott is an expert in creating the perfect dessert for any occasion and her final products are beautiful works of art. Her hobby of baking cakes, cupcakes, and custom orders quickly turned into a full-time business. After moving into a new, larger space across from David Street Station, Frosted Tops has more space to show off their baking and decorating skills. But don’t take our word for it, stop in during their business hours and you can try a macaron, cupcake, or scoop of ice cream.

Backwards Distilling Company Tasting Room

Several years ago, the Pollock family began creating unique spirits in their distillery in Mills. With a desire to be closer to the growth that Downtown Casper has seen, they recently renovated their current tasting room on Wolcott and have been busy ever since. Using the finest ingredients in each drink to create a taste that is as unique as the business itself sets Backward Distilling apart. Co-owner Amber Pollock has created a space that merges relaxation and excitement so you can enjoy time catching up with your favorite people, sipping delicious drinks, and basking in the ambient tasting room any night of the week.

Fashion Crossroads

This mother/daughter team of Dawn Stevenson and Kyleen Stevenson-Braxton have been helping customers find the perfect look for the right occasion for over 40 years. Spanning across two storefronts on Second Street, Fashion Crossroads and the FC Outlet have 10,000 square feet of retail space to showcase the latest trends from casual daytime looks to a night on the town. Not only are these ladies doing a bang-up job at their brick and mortar store, they also have a great online store that allows them to gain new customers from across the nation. With the dedication and experience to match, it’s no wonder these ladies won the 2019 Spirit of Wyoming Small Business Award.
